So this was a white elephant gift. We were to bring something that started with the first letter of our first name. Chris was the last to open and defenitely saved the best for last. My dad has became a raccoon trapper recently adn decided that this 40 pound raccoon would be teh perfect white elephant gift. It was pretty entertaining to see everyone's reactions. Lennox loves babies. Baby Reed was getting hugs and kisses all night.

The kids being, well...kids. They are quite a group of hyper children!

Trying to get all the kids in a picture. Nearly impossible.

Christmas Pictures - Captured Images

The Best time of Year...Christmas

Chistmas is almost here, so I figured I would put a few new pics/updates before it got too hectic. The kids Christmas parties are today at school and then they are out of school for 2 whole weeks. Scary stuff! I'm preparing for a disasterous house. We are very excited for this year at Christmas. We will have all 3 kids on Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning, so we get to do all the fun tradition kid things for Christmas. This will be a first for all of us to be together, which makes it even more special! I can't to see all of their reactions (good and bad) when they see all of their gifts. This should be a good one for Lennox, since he will actually kind of be able to participate this year. I had to go buy a new video camera to capture all of these special moments. I will add some pics and videos soon after the Holiday. Hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas and New Years.
Hannah, Lennox, and Ryder after seein Santa at Grandma Susan's.
Hannah was the only brave one LOL. Lennox and Ryder weren't
having anything to do with this Santa.

Breakfast with Santa at FSCC. Santa didn't scare Lennox this time.

Hannah with Santa.

Our Silver and Black Christmas Tree this year. I should have taken the picture
right after we decorated it, because it is no missing a few bulbs thanks to Lennox,
who thinks that everything round is a ball.
Lennox put on my Hoops just hangin on his ears.

My "Lil Ballers" 5 & 6 year old basketball team I coached this fall.
It was an experiece to say the least. We made lots of improvements from day 1
to the finish here. I had a blast and hope I get at least some of the same ones next year!

Lennox's Cheese Face too bad he didn't want to do that for the picture that day!

Our 2008 Holiday Card. Hope everyone got theirs in the mail.
If not, it should be coming soon if I sent them to the right addresses.

ROCK THE VOTE!

So...this was my first time voting and my first time really getting interested in the political race. I praise the schools for helping to teach our children about the importance of this election and keeping them updated with this political race. Hannah comes home from school telling me first about Obama and how he wants to be president and different issues he stands on (in a 1st graders head) and then comes home and tells me the next day that McCain wants to be President too and issues he stands on. I know this doesn't sink in to her head, but her awareness of this made me very proud. I took her and Malachi with me today to Vote and they filled out a Ballot all on their own. A picture ballot of course, but they sure knew to VOTE OBAMA! :) They got their sticker just like I did and here are some pictures of them very proud of themselves!

Famous in a Small Town

We hosted "Vann's 1st Annual Halloween Bash: Famous in a small Town." Everyone was to dress up as someome famous. We had a good turn out and couldn't believe some of hte outfits. It was a very entertaining and fun night. I just want to thank everyone for coming, and hopefully we can make this happen again next year. I'm already racking my brain for themes. Who said Halloween was for kids? Enjoy the pics you are about to witness.

Captured Images Photo Shoot

The family got together for some family pictures taken by Kenny Felt for
Captured Images. This was the first time that we have had pictures
taken with all of the kids since we got married. The pictures turned out very
good, except Lennox in some of the pictures. He was not cooperating
on this particular day. Oh well!
