our life...in words and pictures
Bullies on the softball field that is…we played all day Saturday in a tournament to go undefeated and take home the championship trophy. This picture is evidence, but the photographer wasn’t the best. I think we were all laughing at bo’s comment he might have made shortly before this.

Yeah!!! Hannah comes home today. We have missed her a lot, but the good thing is these 2 weeks have really flown by. This is kind of surprising to me, since we have slowed down tremendously after coed softball and peewee baseball are over. Tarrell is still going strong at the softball fields, after being picked up by 2 more teams.
Lots going on besides our normal sporting lives. Well, a little, I guess. Trisha and I have embarked on something we are kind of surprised at . I bought a nice camera to start taking pictures of our kids, and after posting them on facebook or elsewhere, people have been commenting and wanting their kids’ pictures taken. It just goes from there. Taking and editing pictures has definitely kept us on our toes. We have chosen “nv photo” as our name (Newton-Vann) for the NV. Our blog for this, where you can check our latest shoots, is www.nvphotoedge.blogspot.com
Another project of mine…kids’ bathroom. I decided to go for a surf/beach bath for them, after our vacation to the beach. The painting is done. I am slowly getting décor bought, and yesterday I received my artwork for one of the walls featuring , of course, malachi and Hannah. These turned out so great. I can’t wait to get them up on the wall and finish this project. Then its off the some other room to start painting.

After attending court last week with hannah’s mother, they granted her 3 weeks of summer visitation this summer. She went there yesterday. Talk about a quiet house last night. We miss her already. Lennox asked last night when I got home from work, “where Hannah”. Again, this morning, on our way out the door, he knew he was missing something, and said, “where hannah mommy?” he loves this girl to death. It is very complicated to try and explain that her and malachi have different mothers. When I say, she’s with her mommy, he points at me.
Here are some beautiful pictures that trisha and I took last week.
Trisha and I had our first official “shoot” with Austin. He is turning 1 tomorrow. He didn’t quite know what to think about us. He did not like being put in places he wasn’t familiar with outside, so after a few crying shots, 1 smiling face, and clinging to his mother, we decided to head back inside, and let him get more comfortable. We caught some good moments of this cutie. Happy birthday Austin.
